Hi good people, welcome to another entry on the blog. I should have blogged this wedding a while ago but to be honest blogging is like a full-time job and can overwhelm you if are not careful. :-). With that caveat, let’s get into business.
Audrey is a long time friend of mine and we met some years back when she joined the worship team of the church i was in then. We forged a great friendship and even though she already had another photographer for her wedding, she requested that i shoot some pictures too. Sam has also become a good friend since we met and these two are not only in love with each other but with Jesus Christ too.
Being a second shooter in a wedding can sometimes be very fun and rewarding because you do not have much pressure on you and therefore you get to experiment a lot. And that is what Kate (my assistant) and i did. Here is the wedding as i saw it through my lens.
Church :: Pan Africa Christian University Church
Reception :: Utalii Library Gardens Nairobi
A little advice for anyone who wants to be a make up artist; get yourself a very steady pair of hands . . . 😀
I loved the bride’s dress.
And the shoes were gorgeous too.
And they fit very well.
The smiles were getting revved.
And here is the bride… looking lovely.
The smiles were going round quite fast.
The Flower Girl was not to be left out of the fun.
The photographers were quite many.
All the ladies got into the fray.
I never miss this classical pose of the Bride.
And she went into the awaiting Merc!
And i got my injection of creativity… 🙂
I am currently learning how to name a specific shade of color… Turquoise Blue! Any Objections?
I bet you were wondering where the groom at. Sam looked sharp!
I do, I do came and flew by.
The presiding Pastor gave a rousing sermon albeit a bit too long… 🙂
And i have proof of how long it actually was.
And at the Windsor Hotel the couple had a breather.
The bridal team looked ravishing with the Windsor providing a great backdrop.
Sam and his groomsmen were looking sharp.
The couple got some cosy shots before departing for the reception.
Wish i had more lights for this shot but all the same it came out beautiful.
Back at the reception, just before the cake cutting and just after i had stuffed myself full, :-), I met this cute baby girl.
Cake time is one of my favorite moments in any wedding . . . I wonder why 😀
This is one skillful husband.
And to sign off from this blessed wedding… These two are RESERVED for each other.
Hope you enjoyed this blog entry and thanks for dropping by. God bless you big. Please feel free to leave your comments below. 🙂
