This blog post should have been up weeks ago; I have nobody to blame but the World Cup :D. If I had awards for all weddings I shoot in the year, Anne + Philippe would get nominations in all categories and possibly walk away with a lot of accolades. At this wedding I had the least of pressure and I even had time to sit down and enjoy the banquet prepared by the Zen Gardens Chefs. It was my dream wedding happening before my eyes and God gave me the privilege of shooting it.
I loved the decor, the details and the ambiance that was in this setting. Anne and Philippe had at every table, names of the cities and destinations that they have visited together. I think I ate everything on that menu :D. I have to tell you at this point that this whole setup was done by the couple with the help of their families and friends. The sight of this photo makes me hungry every time I look at it. I cannot wait for Cake Festival 2014. The couple hit the floor with the first dance… And after that the party got into 7th gear. The following day after some rest we had an after-shoot at the Safari Park Hotel. Divinely we bumped into a couple who had their wedding there and the two couples hit it off so fast and decided to have a photo taken. If I am not mistaken, from left to right we have a Dutch, a Pakistani, a Kenyan, and a Belgian. There you have it; I hope you enjoyed this sweet love story as much as I had fun covering it. And thanks to a few good friends who kept reminding me to blog it.
Yay to the Bride, Yay to the Groom, Yay to a happy marriage for them and a lifetime of happiness for them. God bless you Anne and Philippe.
